  1. I have the xp2 and the x100s. The xp2 kinda ruins the x100s for me. I still like it and use it instead of the xp2 for a lot of day to day stuff but I find myself missing the xp2. I think if they make the next x100 with the sensor, processor, focusing system, and joystick of the xpro2 it will be one awesome camera that I will gladly fork out some cash for. Since it is such a small camera a touch screen seems to make more sense than a joystick. Which would be fine with me. Plus if they make it weather sealed... oh yeah. I forgot to mention the flare control on the x100 is not good. It gets hazy really fast with bright light coming in from the edges. It can be annoying.
  2. I do events with the 16-55 on my xp2 with grip attachment and find it pretty well balanced. I was doing events with a 16, 23, 56 combo and was not enjoying swapping lenses all the time. Although these three lenses are killer in low light, so I will usually bring them as backup for those situations. I rented the 18-50 first because I thought that would be the better option for me, over the 16-55. On the xp2 I felt the 16-55 images were noticeably sharper. This may not be the case on the 16mp sensor. Plus I love having any extra stop I can get. I always end up wishing for it when I don't have it. I use the 35 f2 or the 23 for my everyday lenses. I have a tough time deciding between the two. Honestly, I haven't picked up a Fuji lens I didn't like.

This is my first paid shoot with the Fuji X system. I have been shooting Sony for ht past 10 years so it is a big change for me. I am completely in love with the Fuji X-Pro2. This shoot was with it and the 56mm, 35f2, and 16f1.4.
  6. Hello, My name is Paul. I started off in photography about 12 years ago with a simple entry level Pentax SLR. I bought the Sony a100 right when it came out and have been shooting Sony ever since. Right up to about two weeks ago... For the past two years I have been shooting with a Sony A7 and some native lenses. I wanted another camera to play with and have been hearing good things about Fuji. So I picked up the X-T10 with the 56mm, 16mm, 35f2. I loved it right away and like Chudlyfudly above, it felt more like an artistic tool than a power tool. I hastily sold all my Sony gear and bought a X-Pro2 with a couple more lenses. Now I love the Pro 2 so much my brand new X-T10 just sits there. But I mainly got a second camera for weddings, so it will get used a couple times a year. I only miss the Dynamic Range from my A7. Otherwise I like everything else more, when it comes to the Fuji System. I even like the 6400 ISO better, which sounds crazy but I swear it looks better. Photography is my hobby that I get paid to do a couple times a year. I pretty much only do weddings, engagement photos, and senior portraits. Besides that I take thousands of pics of my kids and everything else I can.
