Hello,

I am shooting film and I need to enter the digital age with an XT20 for faster workflow ... and to attend a year of photography education :)

Coming from film I am interested to buy a Leica lens that will go to an Leica M6 body I intend to buy in the future ...

Based on your experience, which Leica lens would you suggest for a 35 or 50 mm focal length ? I cannot afford the new Leica lens, so I am going for a used Summicron edition.

Thank you

What about the Summicron-C 40mm. It's a fantastic lens tiny size and low weight  make it a great fit for the XT20 and you end up with a 60mm equivalent focal length. I have used one on an XT1. With the right adaptor you even get close focusing capability...
