Sorry if this already has been covered. I am very happy about the new focus stacking feature included with the 4.0 update! The problem is, as a landscape photographer the nearest object in the scene is frequently located right at the bottom of the viewfinder, often too far from any of the AF focus points. My X-T2 usually sits on a tripod and critical focusing is done at 100% magnification, either manually or with one of the AF sensors. However, when at 100% view, it is not possible to move what you’re looking at right to the edge of the frame. Sure, I can use focus peaking to dial in focus at the edges, but only if the image is not magnified! Maybe I’m just missing something, but there must be either a solution to this problem or at least a workaround. I’d really appreciate any help you guys could offer!

If you focus somewhat into the scene at f/16 your DOF will provide sharpness closer to you (1/3) and away from you (2/3). I think 2 or 3 shots for landscape is adequate. Its macro stuff that benefits most from this feature, where 20 or more shots are needed..
