External Mic Xt20

I purchased the rode videomicro for some small audio projects. I know the microphone should be using dual mono to record on both the right and left channels but it is only recording on the right channelZ I want it to record on both so I don’t have to worry about it in post but can’t seem to find the setting to allow this. I tried searching but am still coming up empty handed. Any help would be appreciated!
