Hi, I am seeking information specifying the Entrance Pupil point for FUJINON XF 35mm f/2 R WR lens. It is not given on Fujifilm lens specification website. Fujifilm reply to my enquiries, as “The information you're looking for may not be available”. Obviously information is available but simply not published/given by Fuji. Your advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would think that with a lens as small as the 35mm f2 it wouldn't much matter for panos, if that is what you have in mind. Take a point about halfway. If you are stitching with lightroom or photoshop it is not likely to be necessary.

Thank you for your replay BobJ, your suggestion is correct. I guess that it is a technical mine in me that wants everything to be precise in my pursuits.

Regards, Vlad.

Or you can find the entrance pupil yourself. There are many tutorials online.

I know of many tutorials on line, but that is not the best way of doing it. I have several Leica M mount lenses and Leica publishes Entrance Pupil for each lens in their technical specification.

I would have thoughts that Fuji would do the same, but it is ok now I have worked that out and there is very little to crop in stitched panoramic shots.
