I made it work! Remove the bluetooth connection and the camera in the xApp. After that add the camera in the xApp (do not try to make a bluetooth connection). It will work! I did this with firmware version 4.31.

Don't understand what to do.

It's remarkable how this is handled by Fuji. I just returned from a great vacation. I now have to manually add location exif data to all my photos and I missed the opportunity to make some great family photos because remote shooting wasn't available.

It's also definitely a firmware issue. It's not that hard to roll back the x-app on android. Unfortunately we can't roll back the firmware ourselfs. Fuji can do this however. Simply release 4.32 based on the last working firmware! And after that work on fixing compatibility issues. The 4.30 only removed connectivity options, it added nothing notably new.

I guess we learn something everyday, after this is fixed I'm never updating my camera again.

Still doesn't work for me. There was an Android update to my Oneplus last week and that's not helped me at all.

Please explain in more detail. I don't see how you do this without using bluetooth, and it's the pairing operation that fails. What phone were you using? Android version?

I'm not sure either. I tried everything possible to remove Bluetooth device. Fujifilm needs to realise an issue with certain Chinese rom phones and fix the issue

Hi everybody

I noticed today the 2nd of September 2025 that there was a Playstore update to Fujifilm X app.

Since my Oppo is now gone, it would be interesting to see if there is any luck with Oppo/OnePlus/Realme or equivalent Chinese Roms. Do let me know.

I don't think we can say that it's Chinese Rom's, Fujifilm X-App or the Firmware update/s to Fujifilm. Rather an incompatibility issue somewhere with all 3 parties. Check phone updates,  & Playstore updates and of course camera firmware updates. Have spent hours and hours with processes of elimination and even reset my X100 VI, my Oppo so no need to reset phone or cameras. It's so annoying. We will get to the root of this..

Cheers

I have oppo finde x7 ultra and I had the same problem connection  with Fujifilm xs20 but today I get app update ( Xapp) and now it's working!!!

Hi Everyone

I have being contacted by technical support in Australia who have been fantastic. The new update to the Fujifilm X app end of September has apparently fixed the Bluetooth issue with Chinese Roms running Color OS , namely Oppo, OnePlus and Realme & equivalent .

I have since sold my Oppo Find X8 Pro, so unable to see if the issue has been solved. Please reply to this to let me know if you are still having issues.

Cheers

Ian

There have indeed been changes since the last app update at the end of September.
On my Realme GT 7, I initially received the message "The model is not compatible with Fujifilm XApp."
I repeated the deletion procedure and paired it again, and miraculously, the pairing was successful.

    • Hey everyone, I am new to the fujifilm system, and I just received my X100vi about 15 days ago, and yesterday I noticed that ISO and exposure dials are acting up. I spent hours watching YouTube videos and reading forms without finding any solutions. Using ChatGPT or Gemini also didn’t help. My issues are the following: If I want to set my ISO at a specific value then the camera LCD/EVF shows a totally different value. For example, I have shutter manual, aperture manual and ISO dial at 6400, the camera shows ISO at 4000, when I take pictures it will show ISO at 4000 and not 6400. When I try to choose another ISO value it will skip some of the available values that are shown on the dial. Another issue I am having is when my exposure dial is not set at specific value, then I cannot set ISO to Auto no matter what value I select on the dial. If I do select the different exposure compensation values, then I choose A for ISO, the camera will activate the front commend dial to manually change ISO values. To get in Auto ISO, the shutter speed cannot be set in auto and the ISO dial should be set at 125, when I turn the ISO wheel, it seems like the numbers are misaligned by one value, If I put the dial on A with shutter speed manual, then it will trigger the front commend dial. The other issue that I am having is when I have Aperture, shutter speed and ISO on manual, If I change the exposure dial compensation + or - , it actually changes the exposure of the picture as well as the ISO value, which as I understand, if Camera is in full manual, the exposure dial should do nothing. The last issue that I am having, if I do have ISO in manual at a set value, and adjust exposure compensation dial, it alters my ISO instead of my shutter speed or my aperture, even though ISO is in Manual and the other two dials are in Automatic. I am not really sure if all of this is by design and I am just not understanding how everything works together, but it seems really odd how everything changes. Resetting the camera settings didn’t help.
    • I also have the eaxct problem with my X-T5. The remote used to work, but not anymore. I also get the light coming on on the camera back, and autofocus will happen, but no shutter release. Since I use the 2 or 10 seconds timer more I don't know if a firmware update is the cause of this negative change. I actualley only use the wired jack-remote for action release on a tripod.  Did anybody find a cause, and even more assisting, a solution?
    • I have the same issue. Have you found the the solution?

    • On my XPro 2 the rear command dial, when pressed, can cycle through 3 different magnification levels in the OVF.
