Strange issue on the X100VI. With Auto ISO (125-12800 Range) and manual Shutter Speed and Aperture but with exposure compensation dial set to C.

No matter what SS and Aperture mix I set to get an over or under exposed image, the EXIF data always shows -2/3 Exp Comp. Even is the screen at capture shows +3EV, the EXIF always shows -2/3.

AI says this is a 'Fuji quirk' but any real people have any idea as to what is going on please?

The first image is a screen shot from Lightroom Classic showing -2/3 EV

The second is a phone photo of the camera back showing obvious overexposure at time of capture of +3EV

The third is the camera back playing back the photo just captured again showing -2/3 EV

Chat GPT things this is a known firmware error. But I can see no record of it.

There are so many ways to set up the camera it could be any setting. I will reset it to factory and add my set up piece by piece and see where the firmware goes wrong. It does seem a few people have the exact same issue so pretty sure its a firmware bug.
