Hi everyone, I am a newbie to Fujifilm with my XM-5. I like it to be small and lightweight.

I take photo when I travel and like capturing my trip with a camera.

In my few attempts with the new camera, I find one thing keep bother me. I mistakenly changed the exposure compensation with the back command dial when I switch on / off the camera.

I go thru the manual and it seems there is no way to disable the back command dial in Auto mode.  I hope there is a way to do so.

Cheers.

    • I have the latest software on my iPhone and latest firmware on the camera - image transfer works but very slow for raw files. I always use a card reader to transfer files which seems convenient and very fast.
    • Hi everyone, I’ve been using the Fujifilm X100VI with the XApp without any issues until recently. Since updating the firmware, I’ve encountered a serious problem. When I connect the camera to the app, it only shows the latest photo taken with the message “Receiving thumbnail images. It may take a while to build the database in the camera.” But no other images load, no matter how long I wait. Now, even worse — the one photo that does appear won’t download either. I tap on it, and it simply doesn’t transfer to my iPhone. It seems like the connection between the app and the camera is completely broken. I’ve already tried: Resetting the camera settings Reinstalling the app Checking SD card format and settings None of it helped. I really need to transfer these pictures, and I’m stuck. Has anyone found a fix for this? Is it possible to downgrade the firmware safely, or is Fujifilm working on a patch?
    • I think Pal2tech has an excellent video on how HDR files are stored.
    • Hey, has anybody tried or achieved the look similar to the photography of Eren Sarigul? https://erenjam.com/ If so, could you share the recipe for x-trans IV. sensor? Thanks
    • Hi all, I've been using my Tamron 18-300 on my X-T5 without any issues - I find it great as a 'holiday' lens when I want to take photos but don't want the hassle of changing lenses throughout the day.  This afternoon I put the lens on my wife's X-T20 for the first time (Tamron site confirms it is compatible with the X-T20) and noticed the following:  When focusing on the subject and half pressing the shutter button, focus locks as it should.  However if I decide not to take the photo and release the shutter button the lens sounds as though it is hunting for focus for about one second to two seconds before going quiet.  The rear screen flickers during this time.  This doesn't happen on the X-T5.  The camera is set to single point focus, single shot.   Has anyone else experienced this and is it a problem? Thanks, Ian
