Jpegs importing with low megapixel count

Hi!

I've recently upgraded from the Xt30ii to the Xt5 and one thing I've noticed is that there's a massive discrepancy in megapixels when I import Jpegs and Raw files shot on the same ratio.

For instance with the camera set to the L3:2 ratio, I'm getting the full 40mp when I import to Lr or my phone etc but the equivalent Jpeg is only 9.8mp

I never experienced this on the Xt30ii.

Do I have some setting switched on that I shouldn't?

what exactly are you doing and what exact steps are you taking?

when you say you "import to Lr or my phone" do you mean you are importing to LightRoom on your phone? what sort of phone and how are you importing the image files?

It must have been some weird glitch in the matrix...I deleted all the uploaded pics and toggled all the fine and raw settings, re-imported and now it works as normal again.

Who knows?!🤷🏻‍♂️
