XT-2 "hanging"

Conditions: XT-2 firmware 4.40, battery grip, Godox V860 and remote, tethered to Lightroom Classic v13.1 through Fujifilm app, Macbook Pro Ventura 13.6.  

The camera has started to "hang" after a few shots.  By this I mean that the screen goes grey and the camera won't turn off or on. I've tried re-setting the firmware but that doesn't appear to make a difference.  The problem appears to be related to when I'm using the flash.  It doesn't arise with the same variables but using studio lights.  To restart the camera, I had to remove the battery from the camera.  After a few shots, the camera hung again.  Finally I had to disconnect the camera from the laptop and remove the battery grip.

I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions on how to resolve this.  Thanks in advance, Bronwyn
