Here in the US, the first Monday of September, Labor Day, is a national holiday. Per the U.S. Department of Labor, "Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country."

I work in Denver, Colorado in a part of town that is undergoing a major construction boom. I came across this construction worker showing his son (I assume) "where daddy works". The kid was fascinated and delighted with the construction equipment, the tools, the trucks, the noise,...

I took this with my X-T10 18-55. I had to rack it out to ~55 and shoot quickly. I also had to crop it pretty tight so I could get the expression on their faces.

Anyway, Happy Labor Day!
