So the Mitakon 65mm 1.4 is the closest I’ve gotten to the look of a Pentax 67. I shoot mostly environmental portraits on a 50r and that separation and smooth falloff is something I really look for.

Are there any lenses, native or otherwise, that can rival the Mitakon? I’ve tried the Minolta 58s and they don’t quite get there.

Well, the great thing about mirrorless cameras is, they are dead easy to adapt vintage lenses..

You can find a number of them at Fotodiox.com

do note that with most of these you are only using the central area of a “true” medium format film lens. You could use a speed booster adapter which has optics in it that allow you to use the full image circle of the medium format lens.

i use a Metabones Speedbooater to adapt my old Hasselblad V-System  lenses, and i love the results.

One nice side benefit of the speed booster is that you generally gain a full stop or so of light “speed” of the lens.

Id suggest you explore these option, lots of great old MF format vintage lenses out there fro Hassy, Mamiya, etc out there.
