I would try another cable anyway. And did you try a restart of the PC?

Thanks Olaf, you are right, I did typo error by put "-" accidentally Now the software run smoothly in my PC Problem now, is the USB connection between camera and my PC is not stable, as with the same USB C to A cable I have smooth flaw with my macbook

If face/eye detection is off you should be able to see the [ ] symbol change, even if other display settings are preventing you from seeing the current exposure. One more possible cause is the Lock function under button/dial setting, but if you reset everything to factory default none of those would be active.

Hello, @Sjonsnaps hopefully You've figured out the topic on Your own by now but here's how I always did it on Fujifilm and on X-T5 currently: Enable AF+MF Disengage shutter AF in AF-S Set DOF scale for MF to film (rather than pixel) From now on You operate in AF-S only in a Back-Button-Focusing manner. When You want to set focus distance, half press the shutter and turn the ring - the distance will stay the same, no matter what and without accidental change, unless You half press the shutter and turn the ring simultaniously again . This works in A more no problem. Hope this helps!
