Fuji 80mm Macro Noise

Hello everyone,

Got my X-H2 a few days ago with the 80mm Macro. I know about the clunking and whirring noises, but since this morning it's making a distinct new sound: After I half press the shutter and it closes  the aperture as needed for the foto, if i then let go of the shutter the aperture goes back to wide open, but it doesn't do this smoothly: it goes in strange, irregular steps and rattles while it does so. (The screen also flickers while it is doing this)

Is this normal? Could it be a setting I accidentally changed?
