Function (Fn) Settings list missing an important function

I find the "Pre-AF" function very useful in AF zone mode with face/eye recognition turned ON since the continuous focus helpes the AI to faster recognize faces and eyes. But I dont like "Pre-AF" in AF spot mode with face/eye turned OFF.

Although I have assigned and set the AF modes to quickly switch back and forth, I am unable to find "Pre-AF" in the custom function list to switch it ON or OFF with comparable ease.

Perhaps Im missing something. My firmwares are the latest. X-T5 body with 18-55 f2.8-4. Any help would be appreciated.

You can build your own custom setting under the IQ menu, Edit/Save Custom Setting.  As far as I can tell, any camera function can be saved as C1, C2, etc.  Then you can assign the setting you created to a button, like the Fn2.  Pretty cool.
