Exposure Preview randomly stopped working

Hi all. The exposure preview where the bar goes up and down based on exposure, letting you know you need to make adjustments or the image will be over or under exposed, complety stopped working. It is just stuck in the middle and displays a well exposed image no matter the settings. You have no idea what the exposure will be until you take the shot and find out its too dark or overexposed. Firmware has been updated to 1.04 and did not resolve the issue. Any idea?

Are you talking about the vertical bar that shows where your exposure compensation is set?  That graph displays whatever you have set on the exposure compensation dial and has nothing to do with the automated exposure of the camera.  If you are using manual settings that lead to over exposure, that is still going to happen if you dial down the exposure comp dial.  Its more of a fine tuning adjustment.
