Argh, I feel my not-quite-a-year-old X100T is falling apart.  First the brown spot on the LCD.  Now I have this thing where sometimes, while viewing the EVF, it's as if the eye sensor has decided I've moved my eye away and the EVF returns to the LCD.  It's really annoying.

Anyone else experience this?

Thanks.

Not exactly the same, but my X-T10 quite often decides to switch to the EVF even when it's on a tripod, and I'm nowhere near the EVF, turning off the LCD. It is quite annoying...

My (wild) guess is that light hitting on the eye-sensor triggers this.

BTW, Olympus got this right: they use a sensor under the LCD, so when it's lifted, even a tiny bit, the camera turns off the eye sensor
