Hi,

Just wanted to share my thought about the future of the shutter dial for the XT2/20 (too late for XP2).

This might have been less relevant in the past, but now that "T" mode lets you go through the entire range with one of the scroll wheels, it would have been really nice if the "T" mode was right next to the "A" mode.

Either "A"->"T"->8000->4000->etc (best option)
or "T"<-"A"->8000->etc (full turning shutter dial).

I find it quite frustrating that I can't quickly move from Auto to "T" on my XT10, as I often want to quickly switch to a pre-set shutter speed without making too many turns. This is the only real "design flaw" that is bothering me. I wonder if there is any chance of something like this happening...

Oh, and I wish they'd return Movie mode as a "Drive" option with shutter press activation. I liked that much more, instead of occupying a Fn button...

Make sense to not have B between T and A..

And take the lock away from the shutter dial (and the ISO dial) and move it to the exposure compensation dial.

Well, on the XT10 the shutter dial goes only one way, so I have to turn it all the way to B, and then go 1 back (if I want to do it without looking at it), which is quite a bother. I suppose it isn't as bad on the XT1.

I can't really understand the usefullness of the dial locks in general, but if they are to be there, the of the "on/off" variety and not ones you have to press every time you want to move the dial...

Right, on T1 it's just 2 steps move from A to T shutter mode. Probably Fuji uses same mechanical parts in X-T10 like in X-E1, if I remember right the shutter dial there is also rotating 300 degrees only.

I like dials lock mechanism very much, it took only few weeks for me to get used, so now I even don't think about lock when rotating - fingers do it automatically (however it's not as fast as without lock).

On X-E1 I often accidentally turned shutter dial form A to 4000 without noticing that, and making few shots on much higher Auto-ISO value than required.
