Hey guys,

First post. Admittedly, I'm asking a quesiton I haven't tried for long to figure out as I just got my EF-42 flash dropped off on my lunch break and only got a half an hour to mess around with it.

I had it hooked up to my X-T10 and it seemed like my camera's exposure settings (SS and ISO) were the same regardless if the flash was being used or not, obviously causing some over-exposure when the flash was used. A couple indoor portraits had my camera staying at 1/60 ss and 2,500 ISO, again, regardless if the flash was firing or not.

If I set the ISO manually, say at 200, the flash seemed to work brilliantly, setting my shutter accordingly.

Any tips here before I start to dig in more this evening?

Any help is much appreciated!
