X-T20 tight lens mount - does it loosen up eventually?

I've just picked up a used X-T20 from mpb.com.  I noticed that attaching / detaching lenses is rather tight -- I have to get a good hold on the lens, or else it won't go, or I end up spinning the aperture ring or one of the other rings.

Has anyone else experienced this.  Does it loosen up over time?

My used X-T2 and X-E2S are both much smoother, especially the X-T2.

Yes, it will loosen over time. There is a small spring under each lobe of the bayonet which holds things tight, that spring will weaken and smooth out with usage.
