Overexposed photos

Hello all,

Just a quick question:
The 90% of my pictures are manually set to -2/3 EV.
Typically it always overexposes them, even when trying with different exposure methods.
Is this a normal behaviour?

Is not really annoying, but just wondering...

Do they appear overexposed visually, or does editing software measure them as overexposed?

They don't appear burned, but a but too shifted to the right.

Perhaps is just a matter of taste.

But as I say, most pictures, to just look 'normal', I have to compensate is by -1/3 or more typically -2/3.

I have an X-E1, and that even tends to (visually) overexpose photos. Whenever I have the slightest highlight in my scenes, I have to underexpose down to -1.5EV. I have to say that, when you get used to this, it's no longer really an issue. Just a thing to keep in mind.
