XT100 Wireless connectivity to smartphone

Hello,

I have installed Fujifilm Camera remote app on my smartphone and followed the instruction for connectivity. But my XT100 is not able to detect the smartphone and never established the connection.

Can you please help establish wireless connectivity ?

Did you join the camera‘s network on your smartphone?

My camera is connecting to the app ok, but the pictures upon;t seem to be downloading to my iPhone. I have tried selecting the pictures that I want to transfer over and clicking import, although nothing seems to happen after that. 

I would be most grateful if any9one has any ideas or has experienced similar issues.
