  1. Xpro2 not available until 2016 now so I'm happy I pulled the trigger on the xpro1 finally.
  2. I just bought one. Couldn't resist the price and I hope it is a feel good camera like everyone says.
  3. From what I remember the fw came from the french Fuji site via their Facebook page. Do you really think it is a beta one week before the actual launch??? And again my point is that it was already announced for June 18 which is the date when the fw was 'leaked' by mistake. This is the real thing releaaed in error by Fuji.
  4. Thank you for your comments but my purse has only enough money to fund the 16mm or the 14mm...14mm is on sale for another couple hours and trawled through all the forums but still undecided...
  5. So is it confirmed that there is an improvement for the 14mm? Thinking about buying it.
  6. Count me in. So much fun with the x100t and xt1. Thank you
  7. From left field but not really, a good second camera can be the Ricoh gr. Tiny and goes everywhere.
  8. So then the xt1 becomes your primary camera?
  9. I went for it. Amazing improvement. Battery seemed to run down a bit faster but not 100% sure about this yet. autofocus on 35mm is amazing improvement, worth it. I'm sure it is not beta.
  10. It is not beta. It was ready for 18/6. It was announced for 18/6 initially and delayed because it would impact x-t10 sales which already has the new firmware. Either way, thank you Fuji for the support of the xt1!
  11. Does it improve 14mm f2.8 focus also?
  12. So what's the consensus here? 16mm over 14mm even though 16mm has a 40% higher price tag (where I'm shopping). Is is worth it?
  13. The dilemma is even bigger now that we all know the xpro2 is on the way. I would guess the xpro2 price to be above US$1500 so maybe the money is better off at my bank until the xpro2 is out. The xpro1 gets such good feedback so the xpro2 should be amazing!
  14. Bought the 56mm and perhaps a bit disappointed and feel I should have bought the 90mm now. It feels I should have gone for more of an extreme difference from the existing 35mm and gone for the 90mm instead.
  15. Xpro 1 now as low as $699 Is it still worth buying? Especially when one owns a x100t and a xt1? I read something that the old sensor in the xpro1 is better but the cameras mentioned above seems to have the same sensor? Price is so low so it is tempting but doesn't seem to have an advantage?
  16. Wonderful photo. What lens did you use?

    18mm in box

Have an 18mm still fully boxed on the shelf. It has been sitting there for 2 months and is collecting dust. Mostly using my x100t and xt1 with 35mm glued onto it and occasionally my Ricoh gr. I'm wondering if these are clear signs to sell the 18mm or is it worth keeping and using eventually? I also have the 18-55mm and bought the 18mm mainly because of its small size.
  18. Sorry, missed it. Seems like I can't delete this thread anymore.
  19. What's the verdict after you have used it?I'm worried about the slower focus and less light on the APD.
  20. I am going to purchase a 56mm and was hoping to get some more feedback before the purchase to select the right version of the 56mm. I came across this article and the author even throws the 50-140 f2.8 in the mix. http://www.fujivsfuji.com/56mm-f1pt2-vs-apd/ Price should not be the deciding factor but the reports on the slow focusing concerns me a bit even though im used to it already from the 35mm f1.4 on my xt1. Comments appreciated.
