  1. Has anyone experienced connection issues with your X cameras? In short there is printer specific SSID (printed on back of printer) unique number. It is to be entered in camera to establish connection. I successfully connected and used printer from iPad app, but to no avail with X-T1, X100T and XQ2 (all with latest fw). Checking wifi settings on iPad revealed printer broadcasting SSID beginning with symbol ")" instead of printed on back "0". Could anyone of You (happy owners of SP-1) check the connection SSID when connected to smartphone to confirm if it is the same as listed on back of Your printer? Thanks in advance! (Update) It was manufacturing fault. Replacement on it's way.
  2. I'm so happy with images from my new XF90mm, I cannot help but to share one image with You. The only concern I have is related to free play of focusing elements while lens not attached on camera turned on. Seems so wrong there is no "parking" of this clunky lens group similarly to construction of HDD head parking at power off.
  3. Even if this relates to internal focusing element movement due new magnet motors being engaged only while camera has power on, it is hard to understand why this element is not being parked rigidly during power off similarly to heads being parked inside HDD. Anyone owns this lens? No concerns on this?
  4. Whatever you choose in the middle, 14mm and 90mm are "bookends"
  5. Have concerns over expected lifetime of this lens due to focusing elements moving freely inside lens barrel unless lens is mounted on camera and powered on. This turns otherwise optically brilliant lens into expensive baby rattle toy inside your camerabag. Any thoughts if some kind of lens group "parking" (on par with head parking inside HDD) can be done via firmware update later on?
  6. But why nobody discuss freaking play of lens elements inside while lens not mounted and powered on body? Such mechanical nonsense sooner or later will result in lack of sharpness due to mechanical misalignment because of constant lens element rattling inside lens barrel during transport in your camera bag. Such Japanese steel will become dull rather soon, hopefully during 2 year period of lens warranty in EU...
