Cam2000 got a reaction from Mike G in Fall 2016 in Rawdon, Quebec
This year was one of the best Fall season for beautiful colors...... Rawdon is situated in the beginning of the Laurentian mountains about one hour North of Montreal, QC
All of the pictures were taken with Fuji X-Pro2 (Have two bodies so therefore the two different series of files) For all the info open the exif file in the pictures.

    Greetings to al of you

How I stopped expecting the X-Pro1 to do something it couldn't and instead got it to do things that it could!

Tried it and it looks like it is slower when using the OVF with the little LCD in the bottom right. If I hide it then the OVF is as fast as the EVF.

Cam2000 reacted to khollister in X-Pro2 initial bug report
If I use the camera continuously for 10-20 minutes (shooting, chimping, playing with menus), the LCD and bottom heats up a bit (warm, not hot). High performance mode seems to hasten this some, but I have not tested it. However, the issues that I have read about where a couple guys sent theirs back for a replacement appeared to have a different problem which mine does not have. They reported that setting the camera to not power off automatically and letting it sit for 10-20 minutes with the LCD on caused the camera to become hot. Under those no-load conditions (other than running the LCD), my XP2 remains at room temperature. I have to be using it to focus, review images and take images for it to eventually get warm. I'm using OEM batteries BTW.

I don't think this is a bug (neither does Fuji from the reports of conversations with them). Mirrorless cameras are much more processor intensive than DSLR's and you can't significantly step up the CPU horsepower without  some increased power dissipation. There is nowhere for the heat to go but the metal chassis via conduction.

Mine to is a 61A0 and I have not had that problem, thankfully.  I can't imagine the stress that must be for the wedding guys, right in the middle of the wedding.  I hope this gets worked out.

Its a feature not a fault. The camera was extensively tested on Mt Fuji in winter where the original alpha testers fingers were getting too cold.  Rather than provide the testers with gloves or heat packs Fujifilm decided to install a little fire imp inside the camera body in order to provide the warmth required for extensive shooting in low temperatures. Admittedly there is downside to this in that in warmer climes or during summer the camera body can become slightly toasty.... not a problem,. This June Fujifilm will release the Gunmetal version of the X-Pro2 which has an ice imp installed instead. In fact that version has a little side hatch where, if you speak very nicely to the imp, it will dispense freshly made ice creams and slurpies. I hear tell that Fuji have decided to expand this idea for next Christmas by firmware update to allow the original black X-Pro2's fire imps to supply roasted chestnuts.

The 1.4 is definitely not a bad choice, it's a great choice. But the f/2.0 gets so much praise because it has almost the same image quality, is smaller, faster and weather resistant. The f/1.4 is faster though (faster in aperture) and the image quality is beautiful. Since you already have a WR kit (with the 16-55) you could decide it's not that important and go for the extra stop. The only really pocketable lens is the 27mm f/2.8 though, but that's not as fast.

    Cam2000 reacted to danwells in L-Bracket for X-Pro 2
The Fuji one isn't an L-bracket if I remember correctly... It's just a baseplate and grip set without vertical capability, no? If it IS an L-bracket, it's actually cheaper than the RRS equivalent, once you add a grip to the RRS version.  RRS hasn't announced any plans for a grip for the X-Pro 2, but their grip sets for other Fujis are around $190. The L-bracket (no grip) will be $130. Fuji wants $130 for a baseplate and grip, with no L component, and I haven't seen anything suggesting there will be an L component for it (I don't think Fuji has offered L components for other cameras). If RRS doesn't add a grip to their offerings, which they do for some Fujis, but not others, there will be an interesting dilemma for any photographer who wants both a grip and an L bracket... They had a grip for the X-Pro 1 and still offer them for the X100 and X-E lines, but they don't do grips for the X-T line (and the X-Pro 2 has a more pronounced built-in grip than the X-Pro 1 or X-E lines, but not nearly as much as the X-T line).

Also, an X-Pro 1 baseplate won't fit. Even if the dimensions were identical (as I recall, the X-Pro 2 is a couple of mm thicker), the X-Pro 2 tripod mount is on-axis, while the X-Pro 1 mount was off-axis..

I have this lens and love it.
I used to have the 18-55, maybe I had a bad copy, but I find the 16-55 is a huge step up in performance and image quality.
