  1. Hi fellow Fuji shooters… Yesterday morning (September 15) my camera bag with my entire kit was stolen from the Grote Markt outside of the Markthal in Rotterdam. My brand new Fujifilm X-T2 and five Fujinon XF lenses, Lee filters, etc were inside of a LowPro Event Messenger bag. All of my gear gone in a flash, not to mention all of the photos on my SD cards from four long days of work! I am devastated and heartbroken!
 I am really crushed and do not know what I can do. I know it is really a long shot, but I have to write anyway. I am simply trying to get the word out to as many people as possible. If you could possibly keep an eye out in case you see or hear about anything, and pass along word to anyone else you can think of, especially anyone in the Netherlands/Rotterdam, other Fuji X shooters, camera clubs, keep an eye on classified listings for anything suspicious… I would be very grateful for any small help you might be able to offer.
 In case you might see anyone trying to sell an unboxed Fuji X-T2 or Fuji lenses near Rotterdam in the next days or weeks. I want to ask you to please try and get any information that is possible and either contact me or else the Rotterdam Police directly. I have the serial numbers available for all items, and can describe exactly what was inside of the bag. Very generous reward and no questions asked if returned to me…

  2. Not Nederlander, mede-lander as milandro says. @milandro, thank you for the information that is all very helpful. I am still waiting on a follow-up reply from Fuji but that should help my case I hope. I knew that in Germany there was a 24 month warranty period, but for every other EU country on the Fuji warranty site only 12 month. Why does Fuji list only 12 months? Does anyone have experience in EU having repairs done under warranty between 12-24 months after purchase? Additional info: Yes, camera was purchased in from Amazon UK (I assume that still counts for EU?), shipped to Germany (where I am a resident), and I am currently in Maastricht and need it fixed fast! I am a working photographer and can not be without the camera. The service rep quoted at least 10-14 days turnaround time on the repair. Will likely end up having to buy/rent another body because I have upcoming work that can not wait two weeks or more! Thanks for the help. -Jason
  3. I am having an issue with my XT1 electronic viewfinder flickering and sometimes going out completely. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I ask because I have actually already had the same problem once before: It was repaired under warranty by FujiFilm in December of last year. I was told it was simply a 'loose wire' (Flex cable?) that was not properly soldered. Now they are telling me that they will no longer repair under warranty because it is now past the initial 12-month warranty period (since July). However, It seems to me that this is obviously a defect- one that should have been repaired already once, and the same exact problem is now occurring again. Is there not some kind of a guarantee on repair work? -Jason
