I agree. It gave a sense or feel as to what this camera is about - despite certain critical comments on this forum here. Sometimes I get the sense that being overcritical and unrealistic is cool. My worry is more about the quality of the images the PRO 2 produces and the focusing capability. The spec numbers mean doody to me. It's real life performance. The question in my case will come down to: 1. Will the images and dynamic range of the PRO 2 be as good as the E-1 and will the focusing capability be as good or better than on the T1 2. If images are not better, should I then consider the T1. Are it's images and dynamic range better on the T1 than the E-1. I haven't seen tests on that. Obviously focusing is better on T1. 3. Wait for T3. Highly doubtful that T3 images will be any better than PRO 2, so really no reason to wait forT3 unless one prefers that form camera.

Converting Chinese yuan of 12999 to US dollars results in $2000 price tag, does that also translate into what FUJI plans to sell it for in the US ? I'd say that is a bit steep. The PRO 2 may be too rich for my taste.

I just hope they keep the price down to around 1600-1700. Some of the prices mentioned are as high as for the fantastic Nikon D750. If the performance of the PRO 2 doesn't match the D750 in terms of DR, I may have a dilemna.

I'm hoping the thickness increase of 3.4 mm is due mostly to a better more substantial grip and the whole body itself hasn't grown that much. The 1 mm increases on height and width seem minor enough..

FUJI can't really MAKE anybody develop a flash system. Perhaps part of the problem is that there is a belief among many that the FUJI X system isn't here to stay. That it may get replaced by something else soon. Talk of a FF doesn't help. Unless a manufacturer feels secure about the FUJI X system, it wouldn't happen. But FUJI is building the X system by developing the lenses, they are rounding out their system lineup, so it looks more like a long term system like Nikon or Canon. Just from my perspective, perhaps that's why it's taking so long for somebody to come along and produce a decent flash system. FUJI is finally making people believe.

Why not a brand new PRO 1 selling dirt cheap ? Better EVF on E-2 the reason ?

Except in 3 years the PRO 3 will be discussed with all it's goodies. How far down the road do you push this envelope before you buy ?

If they use the IMX271 sensor DANWELLS mentions and it's as really that good, I will pull the trigger early. The other options appeal less to me - unless there is a yet unknown sensor out there.

Never understood the big attraction of grain. Guess I will not make that my default mode. I'd like to see much greater dynamic range --- pretty please.

FUJI will have 2 months of sales using which sensor in the PRO 2 ? Does anybody other than FUJI really know ?

In other words, the same sensor as in the A1 and A2 - no new updated BAYER sensor.

Just wondering, which is generally not a good sign. Is there any chance FUJI will/might implement a PRO2 or some other new X body with a BAYER sensor ? I have just been looking at some old pictures taken by an X100. Something about the colors. I have also seen lots of comments by other FUJI owners regarding the BAYER sensor. Maybe I just stayed up too late last night

Well we are only dealing with one type of ISO setting dial here used by various manufacturers at one time or another. How FUJI implements it should be interesting. Batteries - I can buy extra batteries as needed, they aren't that expensive. However, I don't want to buy extra hazard/fire insurance because the batteries get hot and go up in flames. I will forsake long lasting batteries if it means safe batteries. So for me, number one concern is safety when it comes to batteries.

Diopter that works on both OVF and EVF - independently of each other. You mean an engineer can't solve that problem ?

Does anybody STILL think that is a tilt screen on the PRO 2 ????? It does NOT look like it to me.

Somebody is going to be really sad rushing to judgement before the product is released. That may or may not be a tilt screen. I don't get it. How can you decide without having all the facts.

I don't know. Hope that LCD thickness doesn't throw of the feel/balance of the PRO-2
