  1. Follow up... Picked up my camera from the repair shop yesterday. It turns out small particles (rice) got into the camera which jammed the shutter. I enjoy rice but can't figure out how that got into the camera.🤔
  2. Do you hear the shutter when you turn the camera off/on? The mechanical shutter in my X-T20 is stuck in the down position and I have the same error message. Anyway, send the camera to a local repair shop (camera out of warranity) and the estimate came back saying the "shutter drive sensor" requires replacement. Cdn.$250 for the replacement/repair. That's okay because it would cost at least $40-50 to ship the camera to Fuji where I live. You should contact Fujifilm to see if it's still in warranity.
  3. Personally, I just prefer keeping things simple. The last thing I want is to fiddle with all those buttons while shooting. Fn1: ISO Fn2-5: AF AE-L, AF-L, R-Dial : Default
  4. Posting in the "Street Photography" section may get you more responses. Anyway, the best method is the one that works for you. Hope to see your photos posted in the future😁
  5. Vilusious, There will always be a large percentage of misses when you are shooting from the hip. Your best option is stay with manual mode to pre-set your shutter speed and focus. This would allow you to shot as your subject moves within your depth-of-field. The video link below may explain it better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld1-w0quKk8&t=60s It should also be stated that in street photography, sharp focus is not necessarily the primary consideration for a good image.
  6. That was a quick response...thanks guys. Since the Focal Length setting only provides exif data; Therefore, the Mount Adaptor settings are superfluous without Leica lenses.
  7. Hi Everyone, I am hoping the Fuji veterans here can offer suggestions to a problem I have with the Mount Adaptpr setting on the X-T20. For lenses 5 and 6, I can set the Focal Length. However, the Distortion, Color Shading, and Peripheral Illumination Correction options are (unshaded) disabled. Firmware v2.0 is installed and the Shoot Without Lens is On. What have I missed?
