  1. My apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I’ve just upgraded my venerable X-T20 to a new X-T50. And the Fuji Remote App has gone to be replaced by the Fuji X App. I’ve followed the set up procedure carefully but have a problem with downloading photos. The camera connects to my IPad okay and I can see the images but when I attempt to download the internet connection fails. Furthermore the camera gets confused with the indicator blinking green and orange. There doesn’t appear to be any way of stopping this and the camera won’t switch off. I’ve had to resort to removing the battery. Does anyone have any advice?
  2. If you use Lightroom you can import direct from the camera via USB.
  3. Any reason why you aren’t considering the XT20? Seems it would tick all the boxes for you.
  4. You can program the rear dial push in as you wish. Personally I have it configured for ISO.
  5. You’re going to Ireland during the equinox? Take the lenses that are weather sealed....
  6. Suggest you look at Footprint. Lovely bridle leather, lots of colours and different trims. They seem happy to do custom sizes etc.
  7. Well- I’ve bitten the bullet this week. The Nikon D7100 has gone, as have several lenses, flash etc. In its place is a Fuji X-T20 with XF 18-55 and XF 35mm f2 lenses. I was very tempted by the X-T2 and also with both XF 16-55 and XF18-135 lenses- in some ways the X-T 2 is better handling. However with these options you start getting back to a sizeable piece of kit- which rather defeats the object of the exercise. I’ve kept my Nikon 50mm f1.8 and 85mm f1.8 lenses - they work with my Nikon FE and I can get an adapter to allow them to work with the Fuji. That should keep me going until I can afford the (rather tasty) XF 90mm. Really looking forward to being part of the Fuji community...
