  1. Thanks DavidOC for your help. I had Nikon and Sony software,( when I had those cameras), that would import the photos to a folder, along with the date. I was looking for something like that. Now, I have to create a new folder, with a name or date, and import the photos to that folder. I thought there was software that would at least generate a folder by date and import to that. There is just additional steps that I have to manually input to have that happen.
  2. Thanks Doug. That explains it. I've got a little more work to do.
  3. I have a X T30 and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I have my ISO set to Auto1- 800, Auto2 set to 3200 and Auto3 set to 12800. I notice occasionally that the Auto ISO settings change to Auto1 800, Auto2 1600 and Auto3 3200. Why does it do that? And how do I set it so it doesn't change.
  4. Hi, I'm a new fuji user. I recently purchased a XT 30 and so far, I love the camera. I've been a Nikon user and sold all of my Nikon equipment. My only regret is selling my D700 many years ago, but that's another story. So, I've got my new camera and out of the blue, I get a lens control error. Turning the camera on and off fixes the problem, but I've had this error message 3 or 4 times in the short month I've had this camera. What can i do to fix this problem? I don't really want to reset the camera, but if this is the only fix, I'm going to have to. Any other suggestions? Is this a problem with the lens, or the camera? Just an update if anyone is interested or having the same problem. I returned the lens to Fujifilm Service Dept in Mississauga Ontario as per their service dept. instructions and now, over a month later, they email me and say they need the camera. So now, I wait, to see what happens. Not impressed, so far, with their service dept.
  5. I've just resorted to inserting the SD card into my mac, and then just copying the images to my MAC. It's too bad Fuji doesn't have any kind of software where the photos are downloaded to my MAC with at least the date. I had a Fuji camera years ago that came with a CD and software and the photos were downloaded with the date. Now, it seems, there is no CD, or import software. Oh well, I'll just have to live with what I have.
  6. Hi. I just purchased a Fuji XT30 and I'm trying to import the images to my MAC. I've installed FujiFilm X Acquire but nothing happens when I connect my camera. I'm running High Sierra as my OS on my MAC. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might try, or what I might be doing wrong?
  7. Hello, my name is Ken and I'm new to Fuji.In the past I've had Nikon, Canon, Hasselblad and now I have a XT30. I really like the compact size and everything I've heard about Fuji. I have an issue though, in that I can't import pictures to my MAC. I'm probably doing something stupid, and hopefully a quick fix. Looking forward to the Fuji system.
