  1. Hi Kate, I instead of a thumb rest I bought a MetroCase Fuji X-T20 grip which add more purchase for your fingers (as well as a ledge for your thumb). It is extremely lightweight, moves the tripod socket to the correct position (centered along lens axis where as the normal one is off axis) for better panorama panning and allow you access to the battery compartment (normally the tripod plate would block the battery/card door). I bought it for $80USD, and was trying to sell it for $60 USD shipped... but now I'm trying to find a home for it a I switched to a X-T2 and the grip it is sitting forlorn on my closet shelf. If you are interested I will see it for $40 USD shipped (sorry if this seems too spammy) Here are some photos.
  2. Hi, I'm late to the game on trying to get my RAF (from an X-T2) look better. I've recently adjusted my LR sharpening settings to help reduce the wormy grain pattern (by reducing amount and increasing detail). I'm interested in checking out the Iridient now that I discovered I can use it more easily in my LR workflow (versus entirely switching my editor), any new tips/suggestions for July 2017? Thanks.
  3. Hi, after about a year of playing with various Fuji cameras (X-T1, X-T20, X100S, X70) the release of the X-Trans III sensor finally convinced me to male the jump from my Nikon to a Fuji. I've been using a Fuji X-T2 for a few months now and am very happy with the images I've been getting (especially after I learned how to reduce the wormy grain pattern in Lightroom when sharpening - yes, yes I know I should use Iridient). I do have a question on what/where is the best place to sell Fuji-specific accessories. I have a really nice Metrocase Fuji X-T20 grip (I bought both the X-T2 and X-T20 and ended up going with the X-T2) that I want to give to someone who can use it. It is extremely light (43 grams/1.5 oz.) - fixes the tripod mounting point to be centered along the lens axis, and allows access to the battery compartment when mounted to a tripod. The grip allows for great one-handed holding. Normally $80 USD, I'm asking for $60 USD paid via Paypal to ship it anywhere in the lower-48 via USPS priority mail.
