Hamado reacted to cug in X-E3 Concept
And you still don't have design skills, dude.
That abomination of a camera back up there is neither functional nor pragmatic nor anything else. And bringing up iPhone comparisons as an example for great design doesn't make your's any better. It's like like saying "this hammer should look like this, just think, you got used to the iPhone design as well". Bringing up completely unrelated designs to justify yours isn't helping the argument.
Sorry dude, but that's how I think about it. I've written a ton of stuff about this on this forum, on other forums and I'm not going to repeat the exercise here only because someone thought he found the holy grail of camera design.

They are unlikely to put all of this in an X-E, at least until the X-Pro 2 and X-T2 have had significant time to sell. It's just too close to the flagships. What we may see as the 24 MP sensor trickles down is more like:
24 MP sensor, same focus point pattern as X-Pro 2 and X-T2 (if there's a difference, the X-E3 will probably get the pattern from the X-Pro 2, not any extra points the X-T2 picks up).
EVF size a little bigger than X-Pro 2 (with an X-Pro 2 like refresh rate), but not in X-T territory (the huge EVF and any extra resolution the X-T2 gets are X-T differentiating features)
Probably non-tilting screen, although a touch screen is a possibility
It probably WILL get the X-Pro 2 combined shutter speed/ISO dial
No weathersealing(?)
Video specs of the X-Pro 2 (I'm guessing the X-T2 has some major improvements)
Single card slot
Probably gets the joystick (I suspect it goes with the big number of AF points) - might not if it has a touchscreen
Instead of an ubercamera that has every spec from the combination of the X-Pro 2 and X-T2, a more realistic X-E3 has the lesser specs from each (viewfinder is neither hybrid nor X-T grade, for example) to keep the price down, and loses a couple of features the other two share (weathersealing). It may pick up a feature or two of its own, but they will tend to be features seen as consumer-oriented (touchscreen?).

Hamado reacted to Alexander Somok in X-T1 Accessory Door
Hi everybody!
FYI
I`ve been folowing this theme http://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/55230494 for quite a long time and I can insure you, there are lot of people with the same problem. On top of that there is a loose rubber issue too. It`s not present on my cameras as much as on some people cameras over there.
Speaking about the door, on one of my cameras (bought it this February) is begining to bend a little, even though we have smth. like 20-25*C max.
About the rubber on the body in general, I used one camera, got it at my local Fujifilm press-center (or whatever you wanna call it), it was messy in terms of "bowed doors and loose rubber". I don`t know how many people actually used it before me, but shutter count was about 5-6k as far as I remember. (And we all know how people use things that doesn`t belong to them) So let`s get it like "bad scenario", reporter`s camera or whatever
That time (september 2014) I got my 5DMarkII for 6 years, I guess, and I never expirienced smth. like this.
Furthermore, as far as I know from my nikon-shooting-friends, there were some issues with the rubber coverings for some time, but nikon somehow managed to solve the problem.
But, you know, I sold all of my Canon gear and, despite the rubber issues, got me X-T1 anyway, because x100 and x100s were actually great freakin` cameras for my taste already.
And little bit more information for all you guys wondering, what should you do eventually:
I contacted one guy from Japan (http://www.aki-asahi.com/) he is producing custom camera coverings for many cameras, and he is actually really nice guy to talk to. Right now he`s little bit busy, but later this year he is going to look into producing custom covering for our beloved X-T1. (And hell yeah, it`s gonna be leather covering, I suppose).
Till that time I`m going to use my cameras anyway, work and fun doesn`t wait, right?
And if things get really messy till that time, or it`s going to take so long (so my warranty expire) I`m going to replace everything or at least the door at Fujifilm.
I hope I helped somebody with the decision. Have a nice day!
P.S. Here you go the photos of that camera from Fujifilm press centre. (found in in archive)

I own one... My teen steals it often... I like it, but would love to see this product released for their wide film.

Hamado reacted to Trenton Talbot in X-T1 Hand Grip
I have a "regular" sized grip on my X-E2. Excellent ergonomic enhancement, especially combined with the Lensmate thumb rest.
Completely different story with the X-T1. I hated its ergonomics from the day one, so at first I bought a vertical grip to have at least some extra gripping surface (MHG was not available at the time). Once MHGs vent on sale, I've compared them and decided that I like a large one (MHG-XT-Large) better, not the medium. Bought it, installed and… happily ever after. My hands are on a smallish medium size, by the way.
PS: Important ergonomic detail. Unlike DSLRs, where you pass the camera strap between your thumb and an index finger, with Fuji and many other MILCs you have to pass it between index and middle fingers.
