  1. sukeren, pleas reach out if you have any questions. I hired a driver and can't say enough good things about him, knows al the spots, zero ego, just happy to make me happy. Please get in touch if I can be of any help with plans. You'll love it!
  2. Namaste Fuji people. I recently tried an XPro-2 and loved it so much I bought one, sold all my Nikon equipment and bought an XT-2 and some lenses. I'm traveling India for six weeks with a backpack and small camera bag. I brought both bodies, five batteries, a bunch of cards, four lenses: 16mm f/1.4, 23mm f/2, 35mm f/1.4 and the 56mm f/1.2, a travel tripod, a MacBook Pro and two hard drives. I'm really happy with everything and how all the gear is performing. If anyone has any questions about how the gear is working out, please feel free to ask. I started a website for my trip, the Fuji images are under my blog and in the India image gallery. I'm only a couple of weeks in, but I've figured out my workflows and what setups I like. Thanks for letting me share. Cheers, Kevin kevinlapresle.com
  3. Chucktin and Warwick, thanks for the replies. It really is a new language. I've been trying to play with it throughout the day, still wondering if I'm doing things right. I put a version of the manual on my phone, iPad, desktop and carry the hard copy. I'll have to check out the book you mentioned. Have a Merry Christmas and thanks again

  5. I just picked up a X-Pro 2 along with a XF 35mm f/1.4 and I'm confused about a few things. Is bright view for zoom lenses? I don't understand how to use that information and am thinking it might for for a lense other than what I'm using. I'm also not sure about the viewfinder selection. I can only switch from EVF to OVF. When I toggle the viewfinder selector, it goes from optical to electronic, but I have yet to see the ERF. The manual also refers to the Aperture mode switch when shooting in the different modes, (shutter, aperture, manual) but the XF 35mm doesn't have one. I thought it was a lense for this camera, did I buy the wrong lense or am I missing something? Thanks for any help or suggestions.
  6. Happy Holidays, I'm Kevin and I'm a newbie to mirrorless cameras. Just picked up an X-Pro2 and the 35mmf/1.4 and trying to get aquatinted with it. I shot Nikon for years... I picked up this camera for an upcoming trip, it seems perfect for travel. Anyhow, I'll probably have a lot of questions, so thanks in advance for any advice that comes my way. Cheers-Kevin
