1. The Ricoh has a leaf shutter. If you want a Fuji with a leaf shutter, the X100T can sync all the way to 1/4000th depending on aperture. 2. I agree. I'd actually prefer a shortcut similar to the card formatting one. Perhaps hold down the Playback button for a few seconds and depress the scroll wheel, etc.
