maybe there will be one more sale soon: http://www.fujirumors.com/new-fuji-x-deals-usa-starting-august-14/ -
You might need a faster lens to easily create the effect you want. I'd go for a prime like the 35mmF1.4 (which you can find pretty cheap on ebay).

It's normal. Should be due to some magnets inside the lens. All XF90mm owners have this rattling, and it's exactly as Fuji designed it

Reason 1 for better AF-Tracking “The new technology has been developed to allow increased number of AF search between the frames. There used to be only one AF search between the frames, but this is now increased up to 10. This will allow better tracking on the moving subject between the frames. […] longer live-view means that AF search can be conducted for longer period of time.” Reason 2 for better AF-Tracking “The AF search can now be processed in parallel. The breakdown of AF search is “Exposure”, “Read”, and then “Process”. The new algorithm allows so that each step can be conducted simultaneously. It means that while the first AF search is being “processed”, the second AF search starts to “read”, and the third AF search starts the “exposure”. By doing so, multiple AF search is now possible in the short interval.“ http://fujifilm-x.com/de/x-stories/evolution-of-autofocus-for-x-t2-and-x-pro2-ver200/

In this BHphoto Podcast episode, the question is: The Mirrorless Divide—Fujifilm is for Artists, Sony is for Pros! Actually, given the how mature the X-system is at this point, the cameras and the wide selections of excellent glass, I consider the Fuji System to be serisoulsy Professional... maybe even more than the Sony System at this stage

Fujifilm just released the Bug Fix Firmware for the XF90mm (donwload here) and XF16-55mm (donwload here). The phenomenon is fixed that the LCD on the camera blinks on & off after the camera is turned on and then a “Lens Error” message is indicated if the upgrade is conducted with a camera whose firmware is the previous version. The issue does not occur with X-Pro2 and X-E2S.

Temporary Suspension of Firmware download for XF90mmF2 and XF16-55mmF2.8 http://www.fujifilm.com/news/n160712.html The FUJIFILM X-series product range has received excellent reviews from a wide range of users since launch. The excellent build, retro design, intuitive controls and outstanding image quality combine to form a package which has delighted professional and enthusiast photographers across the world. Unfortunately we have discovered that the latest firmware of XF90mmF2 R LM WR (Ver.1.01) and XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR (Ver1.10) launched on 9 June 2016 has a potential issue which may result in a failure if the upgrade is conducted with a camera whose firmware is the previous version. In this case, the LCD on the camera blinks on & off after the camera is turned on and then a “Lens Error” message is indicated. If this phenomenon doesn't occur after the firmware upgrade, these lenses can be used normally. Due to the above, the download service of the firmware of XF90mmF2 R LM WR and XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR is temporarily suspended. We have addressed the potential issue and will release an improved firmware for both the XF90mmF2 R LM WR and XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR. This latest version will be released on our Global site on 21 July 2016. * The firmware versions of cameras which may cause this issue.
