You might need a faster lens to easily create the effect you want. I'd go for a prime like the 35mmF1.4 (which you can find pretty cheap on ebay).

It's normal. Should be due to some magnets inside the lens. All XF90mm owners have this rattling, and it's exactly as Fuji designed it

Reason 1 for better AF-Tracking “The new technology has been developed to allow increased number of AF search between the frames. There used to be only one AF search between the frames, but this is now increased up to 10. This will allow better tracking on the moving subject between the frames. […] longer live-view means that AF search can be conducted for longer period of time.” Reason 2 for better AF-Tracking “The AF search can now be processed in parallel. Fujifilm just released the Bug Fix Firmware for the XF90mm (donwload here) and XF16-55mm (donwload here). The phenomenon is fixed that the LCD on the camera blinks on & off after the camera is turned on and then a “Lens Error” message is indicated if the upgrade is conducted with a camera whose firmware is the previous version. The issue does not occur with X-Pro2 and X-E2S.
