Hi Everyone,

I would really like to get the LumoPro 180 Flash and would like to know if anyone has enjoyed this combination the the Fuji Xt-1?

Then secondly I'm not yet comfortable with finding both a wireless trigger, nor shoe cord, but would ideally like both. Not interested in Pocket Wizards at that price. Any suggestions as to what I can use or what would or not work with my above combination?

Many thanks for your time!

Stefan

Hi again!

I have found what seems to be an excellent solve! Very small and beautiful radio triggers for small cameras. Option at $39 with a second receiver option at $55.

I got the option with two receivers, just one drawback there - I can't get stable sync at 1/180, the black bar already appears at this speed, so need to reduce shutter speed to 160 most of the time. But it may be only my units.

  • 2 weeks later...

So I have three LP180's and yes I do trigger them with PocketWizards - not what you want to hear.

But I also have a Wein Pulsar Universal IR trigger (Amazon sells them for just over $60) and it works a treat in almost all conditions.  The main reason I bought that was for my X100T which can sync at 1/1000s and the PW's can't keep up at that speed.

But the Wein Pulsar trigger works great with the X-T1 too.
