Hello from VA

Hello all,

 

I am an avid amateur photog who enjoys travel/street photography and of course pictures of my family. I began shooting film in the 70s in school and still occasionally do. Lately it I am shooting mostly with my x100s and XT1.

Dan -  Just noticed your post and wanted to reply because I too am from Virginia (Keswick near Charlottesville) and also shoot Fuji X100S and X-T1.  Like you, I began in school, 1950 to be exact with a Leica IIIf which I still have in perfect operating condition along with a 1957 Zeiss Super Ikonta BX/M also in perfect operating condition.  Rented the X100S in 2013 and fell in love with the X-Trans sensor and its processor. With my Canon 5DIII, i shoot RAW but, with the Fujis, the JPEGs are so outstanding, especially using that beautiful EVF, that i now shoot only JPEGs with the Fujis.  You can see my website at www.donphotographs.shutterfly.com.  Would love to hear from you.
