Yellow gradient on X-T2 viewfinder?

Hello all.

 

I have noticed that my X-T2 is exhibiting a weird issue, which I am assuming is a defect but would rather confirm with the fellas here.

 

The right side of the viewfinder have a faint but noticeable yellow tint that starts at the right side and fades towards the middle.

 

From far away, as if I was looking at the screen, it is visible even when I am looking dead center. If I manually tilt the camera sideways, I can recreate the effect on the left side and reduce it on the right. So it looks like some sort of optical distortion inside the viewfinder optics. But obviously shouldnt be happening when the camera is straight up...

 

Anyone else has this? Mind checking your viewfinder agaisnt a birght background?
