Hi all,

 

I just wanted to post a brief intro thread, having recently signed up.  I am an amateur photographer, who shoots with a Fuji XT1 and X100S.  I previously had a M43 set up and was curious about Fuji, until one day I came across a used X100S in a local camera shop.  After several months, I decided to make the leap to a full Fuji set up, being swayed by the manual controls, beautiful colours and greater IQ I felt the fuji set up was giving me, over my GH3 and G3.

 

I brought an XT1, 14mm, 35mm and 56mm as my starter kit back in October and have since added a battery grip and the 50-140mm (got a great price on a used lens that had been used once) to my kit.  I shoot a combination of travel and landscape, although i'm starting to build some interest in portrait photography.  That new interest has encouraged me to look into the forum, as the Fuji flash set up appears limited at the moment.

 

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read and I look forward to getting involved over the coming weeks.
