I'm on Linux, so Lightroom wasn't an option for me. I noticed that none of the tools I could find supported this, so I picked the one I liked best and added support myself.

Darktable is an open source Lightroom alternative. My script relies on ExifTool to detect the ratings in the RAF or JPG files (because if you shoot in RAW+Fine, the ratings are only written to the JPG file), but once installed you can just import like normal in Darktable and my script will be triggered to apply the in-camera ratings.
