Fujifilm X-M5 not connecting to X RAW Studio on MacBook Pro

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to use Fujifilm X RAW Studio with my X-M5 on a MacBook Pro (i5, USB-C). I’ve installed the latest version of X RAW Studio and granted all permissions. My camera’s USB Mode is set to “USB RAW CONV./BACKUP RESTORE”, and I’ve tested with several USB-C to USB-C cables, including proper data transfer cables (not just charging cables). The camera charges, but X RAW Studio does not recognize it.

I also tried switching the camera’s USB mode to “USB Card Reader”, but the Mac still doesn’t see the camera. It seems like no data connection is established at all. Has anyone experienced a similar issue with the X-M5? Could this be a firmware compatibility problem, a macOS driver issue, or possibly a hardware fault with the camera’s USB-C port?

Thanks in advance for your help!
