XT5 is so lag while shoot with AF eye tracking on

Dear all

i observed that my XT5 is quite lag while using AF eye Tracking.
I want to upload video to prove but this forum not allow that.

My setting:

XT5 with XF 18mm F1.4 mark2

Firmware : 4.21

AF priority : Focus

Pre-AF : On

Sandisk extreme SD card 170mb/s

Shoot in S Mode

AF Eye tracking is ON

Testing on street with many people, I saw that AF will be a little bit delay when I press half-shoot

I observed that this issue only take place when using AF face tracking only. With other tracking, it didn’t happen.

Boost is on?

I tried with boost, economy or normal mode, all not work. 
I tried with another xt5 from my friend with firmware 4.1, it also faced the same problem

Don't use eye tracking for street. Just use a small area or single point.

Actually, I mentioned testing on street because you can easily detect it when testing on street.

But in fact only testing with small group of peope, even with couple, this issue also happen quite frequently.

Have you checked the settings for jpeg? I found the camera was slow between shots. On the advice of others in this forum I turned 'clarity' tp zero and that makes it much faster. Other jpeg settings on that menu might also make it slow. Lens corrections for instance. I have them at zero because I shoot RAW.
