Shutter Type switching automatically

Hi guys.

Firstly, I've put this in the general chat in case this issue isn't model specific.

I've had my XT20 for nearly 6 years now, and thought I knew it inside out. However lately it's started doing something I haven't noticed before, and I'm unsure if it's a setting or possible fault.

Usually when I'm out with the camera, I'll just leave the shutter set to ES & ME, only changing that to Mechanical only if I want to use ISO 100 (only for long water exposures really).

But I've noticed occasionally the camera is switching from ES & ME to ES only without any input from me, and I can't work out why.

I did have the camera acting a bit strange a month ago, so I carried out a factory reset. Now I'm unsure if this behaviour is down to a default setting, or the old fella is starting to get some sporadic software faults.
