Focus Assist Stopped Appearing

Hello all, 

I picked up a very low use GFX 50R, and right now, have it using an adapted lens (Light Lens Lab Speed Panchro II 50mm), shooting with the Xpan aspect ratio set up.

i have focus assist turned on…and it was working with the red areas appearing in the contrast areas…

However, just the other day…the red tick marks just stopped appearing. I dunno if I bumped something and hit a button, or what but they are no longer there, not on regular view nor the zoomed view…

it is still set to be on through the menu system..

so, not sure what’s going on.

I’ve shot manual lenses and with focus assist on my GFX100 with no problems, but not quite used to the 50R….

can yall think of some modifier I might have inadvertently hit along the way?
