Yup, that is one of the problems with Auto Mode, it turns just about everything on whether you want it to or not.
This is Fujifilm’s site in Sweden, I think it defaults to the English language version because I was in North America when I looked for the site. At the bottom of the page is a general contact form. You may get good results there, or even better results if you look for the camera section and use that contact form.

Best wishes.
Thanks 🙂
I'm sorry but I supposed that. It takes alot of battery when you need to have the camera on for fast action and also creates wear on the lens, which has to work contourably. Weird firmware.
Is it possible to send wishes to the developer somewhere?
I do not have the X-S10/ X-S20, but in looking at the Quick Start Guide, it does not seem like you can override the Auto mode settings. Auto Mode pretty much takes over everything:
"It also automatically detects and tracks subjects using deep-learning AI-based autofocus – negating the need to adjust dedicated Subject Detection settings, as outlined above"

p.s. Welcome to the forum.
