Can't change view mode

hi, just bought an used xt20 (first Fuji) and I don't know if I'm doing another wrong or what but when I press de View Mode nothing happens. Currently it's on the mode that when you get closer to the view finder it switches to it and disable the lcd screen. Is there any other method to switch this to always on the screen without the button or am I doing anything wrong?

Do you feel the switch move when you press it? That switch can be sticky, do you have any contact cleaner?

Thanks Jerry! Yes, the button "moves" the same as the others and do the same sound.

If it was stuck, the contact cleaner and nudging probably could have gotten it working again. The cleaner may still work, but it sounds like maybe a quick trip to the local camera repair shop is more likely to get it back in complete working order. Sorry about that.

I went yesterday to ask how much would it cost to check it and they said that it would be at least 50€ so I think I will use it without that 😅
