drive mode - fn button not working?

Just got my hands on the X-T2 today and I'm really pleased with it, except I'm stuck. At the default setting, the Fn2 button is set to Drive, but it doesn't seem to do anything? I can confirm the Fn2 button works when I change it something else (like playback), and the Drive button set to another Fn button doesn't work either. Any advice? Thanks!

You have to be in a mode for the button to work. For instance when you select CL and press the function button you should be able then select 3, 4 or 5 FPS from the displayed menu. After pressing Function 2

 

When a function button is assigned to DRV it doesn't do anything on its own.

One other thing to bear in mind is that the function button on the VPBG will only mimic function button 1!
