New to Fuji and I have a question

Trying to update the firmware on my camera, and can't use the sd card method, as my computer has no card reader. I have to use the older Camera Remote app, due to my current firmware, but although the app finds my camera after proceeding in the 'pairing registration' section (detected the camera below), when I tap to connect it comes up with a 'pairing failed' message. It says 'reduced connectivity, place camera and smartphone closer together'. They are literally touching each other! I have tried everything - resetting the network, reconnecting both the camera and phone to the wifi, turning bluetooth on and off again, etc. As I say, my phone finds the camera straight away, but just can't connect. So now I am stuck in a vicious circle of not being able to update the firmware, nor update to the new Fujifilm X App. Has anyone any ideas?

The Laowa 65mm is a solid choice for product work; it's sharp, has minimal distortion, and offers excellent close focus. If you ever decide you want AF down the line, the Fuji 80mm f/2.8 is excellent but a lot pricier. For your budget and needs, I recommend the Laowa.

That sounds frustrating, especially after sticking with it since launch. Have you tried the latest firmware updates? I’ve seen a few XT5 owners say it helped with shutdowns and AF quirks, though low-light still seems to be a weak spot.

I've got a problem with my X100VI. Even if I change the name of the Bluetooth and try to pair it still comes up with please delete X100VI on the smartphone and when I go to unpair it and start the pairing procedure gain it tells me to do the same thing again it never seems to get rid of the name X100V. This is only happening with my oppo phone and there doesn't seem to be a problem with my other Android device or my iPad. Have been on to FF Australia and ever since they did an update to the latest firmware I just can't pair. It's a real joke
