Trying to figure out what I've overlooked. I have a Meike 60mm manual macro lens attached to my XS10. I have "shoot without lens" turned on and focus set to MF, camera in manual mode. When I go to the MF Assist menu, I can select any of the options (eg. Standard, Split, Peak). Only Peak seems to work. If I select a different one, for example Split, there is a gray square in the center of the viewfinder, but nothing happens within the square when I manually focus. What am I missing?

just discovered part of the solution by going back and reading the manual again (duh!). I needed to press the focus stick to zoom in. With that done, combined with MF Assist at Peak, it's much easier to precisely adjust the focus. Still can't get Split and Microprism to work, but that may be operator error!
