Dear All

I just bought Fuji X-Pro2 to take some photos as a hobby. I love long exposure photography.

When I made some long exp photos I noticed that I have many hot pixels all over the frame (maybe 100000 noise reduction option did not help at all). (exposure time 120-180 sn). Is it normal? Did you notice this kind of problem?

(This is my second body Fuji already changed old one)

Sincerely,

Just a guess do you have long exposure noise reduction turned on?

The x-pro2 is quite a bit noise prone in longer exposures especially if the camera has been on a while. You can feel it get hot around the grip.

I tried mine with a few nighttime stacks and decided it was not a good fit as with stacking you don't want the long exposure noise turned on.

If you have long exposure noise turned on, might need to call Fuji as it should remove most if the stuck pixels.

The x-T1 does a great job at night very clean with the long exposure noise reduction off. But it also does not get hot.
